The Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV) presents its Avatar technology at one of the world’s most important events dedicated to 3D and 4D scanning and processing technologies of the human body.
This 16th edition was held on October 21st and 22nd in Lugano, Switzerland, and was attended by more than 200 professionals from over 30 countries. The event allowed manufacturers, solution providers and institutions to give live demonstrations of 3D and 4D body scanning systems, software solutions and numerous applications using this technology, such as IBV’s Avatar 3D.

About 3D Avatar Feet
It is a 3D foot scanning application that, through artificial intelligence and by taking 3 photos, makes more than 20 highly precise foot measurements in less than a minute, making it a technology of great interest for manufacturers of customised footwear or all types of insoles.
About 3D Avatar Body
The 3D Avatar Body technology is similar to that of 3D Avatar Feet, but, in this case, it requires 2 photos of the body to produce a complete reconstruction with more than 100 precise measurements available that are much safer than conventional methods.
