At the Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV), we study the behaviour of the human body and how it interacts with products, the environment and services that people use.

We combine know-how from biomechanics, ergonomics and emotional engineering, which we apply through different areas of knowledge to several sectors in order to address their challenges and contribute to promoting business innovation.

What is IBV’s 3D Avatar?

We develop 3D digitization technologies for body and foot. We currently have two online reconstruction technologies (3D Avatar Feet and 3D Avatar Body) and a physical foot scanner (DomeScan/IBV)

These technologies are characterized by the reliability of the results obtained, as well as their usability and versatility, both at home and retail environments.
